In 2017 we were commissioned to create a design, graphical concept and to prepare all of the layouts of the first issue of Brain Magazine — brand new edition about brain and thinkings concepts and methodologies.

Our team has developed the design from scratch, starting from the individual grid system and preparing the style systems for the magazine that can be used in every next issue (that would be prepared by the client). We have managed to create a system that makes the layout disciplined yet let be creative and vary every page so reading does not get boring.

We have received positive feedback from the client. It was also noted that using created grid and style guides is simple and clear.

The hero of the first issue was Edward De Bono. It was a great pleasure to work with this topic as we are big fans of Mr. De Bono and his ideas. Moreover, we actively used his concepts in our creative process.

Working on the magazine we have learned about some new ways of approaching creative tasks that we have integrated into our working process.
